Reception Shift Manager with Advanced English

Wild Rover Hostels is one of the fastest growing hostel chains in South America. We have an excellent opportunity for you to be part of our team as a Reception Shift Manager.

Requirements:

  • - Advanced English (able to communicate fluidly with English speaking tourists)
  • - Confident, motivated and organized
  • - Excellent communication skills and be able to resolve conflicts
  • - Exceptional customer service
  • - Ability to work as part of a team
  • - Full availability and flexibility to work full time
  • - A genuine interest in interacting with people from different cultures

Functions

  • - Making sure staff in your team are providing excellent customer service
  • - Resolve guest’s complaints or feedback in a positive, fast and efficient way
  • - Encouraging staff in your team to provide 5 staff customer service, be the example
  • - Take responsibility for the team and ensure that everyone fulfills their role in accordance with the highest standards
  • - Work in coordination with the rest of the administration team and contribute in daily and weekly meetings
  • - Maintain constant and effective communication with the different departments: housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, bar & restaurant, etc.
  • - Supervise and monitor the hostels facilities, make sure everything is in perfect condition during your shift.
  • - Managing reservations and bookings, replying to messages
  • - Comply with company policies and procedures
  • - Efficiently coordinate operations between the different areas of the Hostel.

Requirements:

  • -Great sales skills
  • -Preferable background with customer service/bartending
  • -Ability to work under pressure as well as excellent communication skills
  • -Personable and willing to integrate into the team

Responsibilities:

  • -Manage 4-6 staff
  • -General bar work
  • -Boost sales
  • -Organizing new ideas, games, activities, and events
  • -Controlling Stock
  • -Speaking to guests and making sure they are happy
